2025 AMERIPEN Annual Summit
Thank you for agreeing to speak at the 2025 AMERIPEN Annual Summit. This event is designed to help our members better understand key packaging and policy issues as well as to challenge them to think creatively and understand different perspectives. You are key to that success.
This document provides logistics as well as information about the items we’ll need to adequately promote and support your presentation. Please read thoroughly and get back to us with materials as outlined in key dates.
If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Ashley Boger at info@ameripen.org.
We appreciate your time and insights and look forward to seeing you at our Annual Summit!
ABOUT AMERIPEN: We represent the U.S. packaging value chain by providing public policy-makers with fact-based, material-neutral, scientific information.
Our Vision: Packaging is recognized for all its benefits, including preventing waste and driving a circular economy.
Our Mission: Be the leading voice for the packaging industry, using science to inspire, create and advocate for sustainable solutions for the packaging value chain.
CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE: Through informative presentations, attendees will participate in engaged discussions on emerging packaging policies, legislator perspectives, legal insights, and much more. This is a must-attend event if you want to keep your finger on the pulse of packaging policy.
AUDIENCE: Attendance is limited to AMERIPEN members and invited guests. Attendees will include senior leadership from companies across the packaging value chain (raw material suppliers, converters, brands, and recyclers). The majority will work in corporate government affairs, with a strong showing also from sustainability teams as well. We also attract representatives from US material-specific packaging trade associations (AF&PA, ACC, PLASTICS, etc.). State and federal government staff and/or legislators and environmental non-profits may attend as invited guests. We anticipate an estimated 100-115 attendees.

PRESENTATION LOGISTICS
A wireless slide advancer will be available, and you will be able to view slides from a confidence monitor at the base of the stage. If needed, please make sure to bring glasses with you to the podium.
Please note for our panel presentations, slides are optional. Most panel presentations are formatted as a "fireside chat" with moderated questions provided in advance. If you are using slides, presenting a slide usually takes about 1 minute, so keep the number of slides to no more than the number of minutes in your presentation, allowing for time for Q&A at the end. Your presentation will be projected on a large screen and viewed from a distance, so we recommend following these simple guidelines:
- Use Microsoft PowerPoint. If you plan to use a different slide program, indicate it on the Speaker Questionnaire below.
- Ensure your presentation is created in the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. Click here for help if necessary.
